Inter’s first strong test of the season came today at home against Roma. And Inter failed said test. Offensively, we looked uncertain. Defensively, we looked unstable. Ultimately, it culminated in 2 well executed Roma goals with 1 bearing a nice deal of luck, and 1 Inter goal that was totally the result of luck. Not a good result for the Nerazzurri whatsoever. Cassano’s loan goal, his first for Inter this season, was totally luck, but he scored nonetheless.
Ouch. Inter lost 4-nil away to Roma today. Bummer.
Goals for: 45
Goals Against: 41
I have nothing to say. See Inter Offside’s comments.
We may be out of Champions League and AC Milan may have secured the Scudetto, but we are headed to the Copa Italia finals after having beat Roma today with a 2-1 aggregate. Eto’o scored half way through the second half, but Roma did find an equalizer before the end.
Wow. Roma is beating Lazio 1-nil right now. The score isn’t as noteworthy as the behavior from Lazio. They are acting like children. One stomped on Totti’s jaw and got away with it. Another head butted a different player; red card. Another player took a Roma player down in the box; red card, penalty kick. Live update as I write: PK goal, 2-nil; just over three minutes left and Lazio is down to 9 men. Unbelievable stuff. Then again, it is a derby!
