FOX has long been the North American method for viewing European soccer. However, this structure has changed with the advent of NBC taking on Barclays Premier League. FOX would do well to take on that same structure. The table above, which assumes a Comcast subscriber, shows the competitive advantage enjoyed by NBC. It is cheaper and provides coverage of every BPL game. In stark contrast, FOX is more expensive for the same coverage of the Champions League. In fact, the only way to get full coverage for Champions League is to purchase Fox Soccer 2Go, because FS1 and FS2 do not cover all the games. But no one wants to spend even more money for online viewing. NBC gets it. FOX needs to get with the times.
