Inter Milan 4-4 Palermo

Inter hosted Palermo in snowy conditions today, ending in a draw. One goal was called off, but it seems to me that the goal was legitimate, and it would have been Inter’s winner. Unfortunately, our defense lacked organization, and Palermo took an early lead. Milito found an equalizer before the half, and Sneijder nearly got Cambiasso a goal right before the half time whistle. After the break, our defenses failed early on, allowing Palermo take the lead out the gate. Sneijder fed Nagatomo who was fouled in the box, and Milito converted the PK to tie it up. Palermo found another goal to take the lead before Milito scored his hat trick, and then Milito scored his fourth goal to give Inter the lead. Unfortunately, Palermo equalized late in the game, and it ended as a draw.

Milito did great, scoring four times (five if we count the goal that should have been allowed), but the defense lacked the Samuel-Lucio tenacious combination, which cost us the win. Milito did score a fifth goal, but it was called off, incorrectly I would add. Oh well, a point is better than no points.
