Well, Chelsea earned 1 goal, maintained a clean sheet, and walked away with 3 points against Sunderland at The Bridge. Torres was lively. He earned a should-have-been penalty kick and debatably one before that. His agility is improving as our only goal came from an acrobatic strike in the air that struck off the crossbar and subsequently ricocheted off of Lampard (now our leading goal scorer in all competitions) and into the goal. There was definitely some fine-tuning for him, but he looked good. Essien made his return, and he looked good too. Sunderland looked like they had the best chances, but fortunately for us they simply did not capitalize.
Way to go, Blues! KTBFFH!
