Full time and we’ve done it! Into the quarter-finals! #CFC (SL)

Chelsea beat Everton again, this time in the Carling Cup, 2-1. Kalou scored first. Everton later equalized. Into overtime it went. Sturridge scored with four minutes left in the second half of overtime, and the game ended thusly.

Sturridge is now tied with Lampard for leading goal scorer, both with five goals each.

Cech came up big in the second half when Turnbull got sent off. Cech came on, and his first and second saves of the game, off of a cold start no less, were to stop a PK and its ensuing rebound. Well done! Spectacular!
