Comments:

It is surprising that following last season’s Double we did not obtain any silverware this season. We performed well in many respects. However, once October 2010 rolled around, our performance dropped significantly. November and December were horrid. Things picked up with the purchase of Fernando Torres for £50,000,000, but he only scored one goal for the team during the remainder of the season. Hopefully he will find his form over the summer. We finished second place in the Premier League, but we definitely did not go out with a bang. Ancelotti got sacked about 10 minutes after the final whistle blew for their season. No silverware, but we did finish above 0.500. Our scoring was not as good this year as the previous one, and we did get shut out too many times in my opinion. I hope that we can pick it up for next year and win Champion’s League if nothing else.
